A changing body means proof of all that I’ve accomplished, all that I’ve survived through, and all that I will continue to strive for. Sometimes I look in the mirror and I don’t recognize myself. In those moments I need to center myself and realize that it’s because I’ve become too negative and i’ve lost sight- I don’t see my reflection for ALL of who I am. The girl i was, the woman i’m becoming. I may see someone physically that I’m not used to, but what a blessing to get to know her. I’m happy to be where I’m at, and I’m happy to be growing and changing. And who knows where that change will lead me.
