At @LEFFEST, I had the honor of meeting Jean Luc Godard's director of photography in the late period, Fabrice Aragno, and went to see his installation of "Image Book" by Godard. It was an beautiful experience to have Fabrice explain the concept and even the exhibition system. The exhibition was presented from the stairway at the entrance to the indoor and outdoor spaces, which were decentralized but as if connected by a fine thread, and the treatment of not only visual images but also sound was superb. In Fabrice's words, it was an extension of the five fingers and hands that create everything, a concept by Godard. The images' meaning, intensity, and cruelly beautifully natural variations and fragments are the complete opposite of the countless mass-produced, unnecessary, effects-filled images elsewhere. It was a wonderful exhibition.」11月26日 21時02分 - keiichiroshibuy
