渋谷慶一郎さんのインスタグラム写真 - (渋谷慶一郎Instagram)「リスボン映画祭では後期ゴダールの撮影監督、ファブリスアラーニョと知り合って、彼が制作したゴダールの「イメージの本」のインスタレーションをシステムやコンセプトに至るまで説明してもらいながら観ることが出来た。展示は階段から室内、野外にまで分散的にしかし細い糸で繋がるように展開されていて、イメージのみならず音の扱いも見事だった。彼自身の言葉で言えば「ものを作る5本の指、手」の拡張か。無数に量産され続ける、無駄なエフェクトだらけの映像とは対極の意味と強度と残酷なまでに美しく自然な断片とバリエーション。素晴らしかった。 At @LEFFEST, I had the honor of meeting Jean Luc Godard's director of photography in the late period, Fabrice Aragno, and went to see his installation of "Image Book" by Godard. It was an beautiful experience to have Fabrice explain the concept and even the exhibition system. The exhibition was presented from the stairway at the entrance to the indoor and outdoor spaces, which were decentralized but as if connected by a fine thread, and the treatment of not only visual images but also sound was superb. In Fabrice's words, it was an extension of the five fingers and hands that create everything, a concept by Godard. The images' meaning, intensity, and cruelly beautifully natural variations and fragments are the complete opposite of the countless mass-produced, unnecessary, effects-filled images elsewhere.
