But I knew I loved the look and that black I would wear a lot. I was incredibly lucky and my parents gave me a pair for my birthday, but that was the middle of summer. And I wanted to be able to try them on in store with my Mother and have the whole retail experience with her. Finally we were able to make the time to go instore together! I was so excited to try and get the boots. My mother wasn’t convinced by them in theory so I wanted her to see them on me. We went to the shoe department and asked for them. The SA was so nice but said they didn’t have any. We were so disappointed. My mother explained the back story to him about how they were a late birthday gift. He disappeared and a few minutes later appeared with a big box, he said he had one pair in my size he was keeping for someone else but they weren’t coming till the end of the month, so after our story he wanted to help us find a pair. Isn’t that nice?! Long story short my mother and I both loved them on and I got to take them home with me. How lucky am I! Huge thank you to the lovely SA and my wonderful Parents who still spoil me in so many ways. They are very beautifully made and very thick leather.
