sometimes i want to quit this twisted ass business. it can be so incredibly ruthless, soul sucking and challenging to your heart & spirit. On those days i do my best to stay grateful and remember the REAL reason i am on this earth….to make art, to create, to bring light into the darkest spaces. i go and listen to all the songs I’ve been so incredibly blessed to co-create, and think of the impenetrable bonds i have made with other creators…and i remember that there is nothing like the feeling of creating something so dope out of absolutely nothing. alchemy. magic. art. 🙏🏻 It is in that moment, the bullshit of this toxic industry becomes easier to laugh off, my skin gets another layer thicker, my spirit gets another level stronger, my fuck off meter gets a little louder and SHE BACK! 🧚🏻‍♀️ CREATORS!
