All overhead sports are predestined for injuries to the rotator cuff or shoulder. 🤕 This exercise with a high eccentric component helps you to better withstand the forces that occur when decelerating throws.
✏️ Perform the exercise slowly and with good body control, starting with low weights and slowly increasing the loads.
🎥 In the video I use a 20 kg dumbbell bar.
📈 The aim is to achieve repetitions of at least 8-15 repetitions and 3 rounds.
I use the exercise specifically two to three times a week, for example after or in strength sessions.
🔎 Make sure to find your dosis to maintain a soft neck and shoulder for throwing sessions next day.
