Lauren Sánchez is looking to the future. Beyond planning her wedding to Jeff Bezos, who proposed in May—“Is it going to be big? Is it going to be overseas? We don’t know yet,” Sánchez admits—the newscaster turned helicopter pilot has her sights set on a few other major projects. There is her planned trip to space aboard the New Shepard, a reusable rocket, with five other women next year; as well as her and her future husband’s many philanthropic investments, including a $10 billion commitment to climate solutions through the Bezos Earth Fund. “This is the most important work I’ve ever done, ever,” Sánchez says.
