ヒラリー・スコットさんのインスタグラム写真 - (ヒラリー・スコットInstagram)「Yesterday marked 12 years without my Paw Paw Earth side. He was diagnosed with leukemia (AML) in June and went to heaven that November. What I would give to have one more supper around this table(at 5pm sharp! Ha!) hearing all about his day and every person he met and their life story. He had SUCH a boomy voice and he loved using it to tell everyone about his kids and grandkids. His greatest accomplishment was his family, without a doubt. I miss him so much. The next two slides are videos from when we played @theryman on 11/14/11, three days after he passed and the night before his funeral. It was so bittersweet finding these last night and remembering what deep grief I was feeling alongside my whole family—grief that still feels SO potent when I remember he never saw me get married, or had the chance to hold any of my babies…well, except for one. The one we didn’t get to bring home when I miscarried in 2015.
