Pokey recently injured her knee and even after the vet fixed her knee, she unfortunately continued to experience some discomfort. Many active dogs and some breeds are prone to knee and joint issues, such as luxating patella issues. Luckily, Pokey only has a low-grade luxating patella, and we manage her pain and inflammation by using @galliprant, an anti-inflammatory medication that her vet prescribed. Our vet told us that Galliprant would work best for Pokey it doesn’t typically have GI side effects since she has a sensitive stomach. I just want Pokey to continue being able to live her best life, and I’m so happy to see her active and happy again!
