We always said we’d retire together, so it’s hard to imagine doing this without you.
But I know I’ll be okay because you were the best teacher.
From long jump to 100m, your belief in me never wavered once. I feel so honoured to have had you as my coach for 12 years.
Thank you so much to the Bourne family for sharing Gary with us, I hope that everyone will honour & respect Gary’s family as they grieve the loss of him.
For anyone wanting to celebrate his life, there will be a ceremony at 2pm on 19th November at QSAC. All are welcome!
