Competitors race around a short and narrow course comprising of city pavements, roads, and old cobble streets to get to the front of the pack and lap slower racers. "The busy crowds and narrow nature of the course meant composition options were limited when shooting the event, so I decided a more creative approach would suit the subject better, shooting with a wider lens at 1/60 while panning with the rider to keep him sharp in the centre of the frame while blurring the motion of the background.
