► Mix up your favorite permanent shade, mix it with 10vol, let it oxidize for 15 minutes, then apply, and just watch it!

► The reason why @MirellaManelli lets it oxidize for the first 15 minutes is because permanent hair color is designed to lift in that timeframe. The last 15 minutes is depositing the color.
