I was given the gig by the amazing photo curator at the museum #AnneTucker who was introduced to my work by @djpentagram, the former desgin director at @TexasMonthly and at the time the newest partner at @pentagramdesign. The book, #FirstDownHouston, which was designed by Stout, was 200 pages of #black&white photography with a museum exhibition & 80 pictures retained for the permanent collection of the museum. 18 trips to Houston (a city I came to really love) & over 500 rolls of 35mm, two hundred rolls of 6x7 & 300 sheets of 4x5 film.
