HUMAN MADEさんのインスタグラム写真 - (HUMAN MADEInstagram)「Introducing OTSUMO PLAZA, a concept store where NIGO®︎ and VERDY’s ideas combine *English follows Japanese. 11月4 日（土）、HUMAN MADE を運営するオツモが、オツモのクリエイティブディレクターであるNIGO®とグラフィックアーティストVERDYのアイデアを詰め込んだ、新たなコンセプトショップ「OTSUMO PLAZA」（@otsumoplaza）を南青山にオープンいたします。 2022年、オツモが運営する東京から世界に活躍するクリエイターのためのシェアアトリエ「オツモセンター」（通称オツモ荘）が誕生しました。「昭和の漫画家たちが集まったトキワ荘のように、日本の次世代を担うクリエイターたちの活躍を体現できる場にしたい」と、NIGO®は語ります。このたび、そこにアトリエを構えるVERDYとともに「オツモセンターのクリエイターから生まれるアイデアを形にして実際の店舗で展開してみたい」という思いから、コンセプトショップ「オツモプラザ」がスタートします。オツモプラザでは、VERDY が描き下ろしたオリジナルデザインのショップ限定アイテムに加え、彼の代表的なプロジェクトである「Wasted Youth」や、「HUMAN MADE」とクリエイターによるコラボレーションも販売予定です。本店舗は「Wasted Youth」やVERDYの手がけた商品が購入できる初の実店舗となり、また今後もさまざまなアイデアとクリエイティブを形にした、オツモプラザならではのアイテムやコレクションを発信していきます。販売アイテムやスケジュール等の詳細については、OTSUMO PLAZA Official Instagram をご参照ください。 @otsumoplaza On Saturday November 4th, OTSUMO, the company behind Human Made, will open OTSUMO PLAZA. Situated in Minami Aoyama, the new concept store will be filled with ideas from OTSUMO’s creative director NIGO®︎and graphic artist VERDY. In 2022 OTSUMO CENTRE(aka OTSUMOSO), a shared atelier for globally successful creators of Tokyo, was born. “Just llike the Tokiwaso, the apartment where Showa manga artists gathered, I want to make OTSUMO CENTRE a place that embodies the activities of the creators, who will lead the next generation of Japan,” NIGO®︎ explains. Together with VERDY, who also has his studio there, they wanted to "give shape to the ideas generated by the creators of the OTSUMO CENTRE and physically develop them for an actual store". Their passion has led to the start of OTSUMO PLAZA. The lineup will feature original items exclusively designed by VERDY for OTSUMO PLAZA, and items from his signature project Wasted Youth, and also collaboration items by NIGO®︎’s brand HUMAN MADE and other creators. This will be the first physical store where 'Wasted Youth' and VERDY design products will consistently be available.
