With the weather warming up there is a chance you may start to spot or encounter a number of of different reptile species. If you do come accross these scaly wonders, here's what to do: 👉Stay calm: Most reptiles are more scared of you than you are of them. 👉Keep your distance: Maintain a safe distance and don't try to touch or handle them. 👉Call in an expert: If you encounter a snake in your home and you're not sure what to do, you can contact a @wireswildliferescue carer who will come to you as soon as possible to catch and relocate the snake. 👉Respect their space and your home: If you are not wanting to attract reptiles such as a snakes make sure you keep on top of rubbish piles and scrap tin you may have lying around as these are attractive homes for snakes. We are so lucky to live alongside 869 reptile species in Australia, with 93 per cent unique to this continent.
