Researchers will study how to program immune cells to identify early signs of disease that are currently missed by our immune system and make targeted repairs to stop those diseases before they progress. They'll also look at applying this technology to diseases that are hard to detect early like pancreatic and ovarian cancers, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's.
