Truthfully I was so relieved that I didn’t have to be in that room to relive so many of my past memories. Mikayla and I always had a plan from day 1. She would only FaceTime me once the heartbeat was up and everything looked good. It’s sad to say these scans are never “fun” for me, infertility took that away. There is so much fear and anxiety leading up to and during the scans but I can’t describe the overwhelming feeling of gratitude that I feel. As well as relief and also I’m just constantly stunned by good news. We were never the good news people. Very surreal. And so very grateful. P.s I see all of you still the in the wait. I struggle with feelings of guilt as I was you for so long and know those feelings so well.
