Biden condemned the attacks by Hamas as the death toll in Israel rose to more than 1,000. Biden confirmed that 14 Americans were killed in the fighting in Israel and that more are among those being held hostage by Hamas terrorists.

“There is no place for hate in America," he said. "We stand with Israel."
