Los Angeles-born Milton Quon was a graduate of Chouinard Art Institute (now known as California Institute of the Arts) and joined Disney Animation in 1939, working on films such as Fantasia and Dumbo. After illustrating for Douglas Aircraft throughout World War II, Milton returned to the Studio in 1946 to head up the publicity department.
