These are your stories. 🐼 #PandaPalooza "My fondest memories of Mei Xiang and Tian Tian are from the early years when Tai Shan was born. I became obsessed with all things 'panda' and researched a lot of information wherever I could find it. When I got the opportunity to visit the Zoo, Tai Shan was already just turning a year old. During the early panda cam days, I spent hours watching him and his antics in the yard, playing and sleeping down by the visitor area wall, sleeping in his favorite little river birch tree. Those days and memories will remain with me for a lifetime. The special friendships I made with other fans and the keepers, curators, and cam operators are held tightly in my heart. Much has changed thru the years but the friendships remain. I visited twice more to see Bao Bao and Bei Bei, but have not been able to come to see Xiao Qi Ji and I will regret that forever. When Tai Shan went home to China, it just about broke me. That day was spent watching the live stream in tears. I have dreaded the day Mei and Tian go home for a very long time and now it's happening. I wish them health and love - so much love to go with them as they will all be in my heart forever.
