@phaidonpress, @artspace, and @KAWSONE are proud to present a limited-edition screenprint by world-renowned contemporary artist KAWS, released in tandem with the artist’s new Phaidon monograph – the most comprehensive study on one of the most influential and much-loved cultural forces today.

Entitled TIDE, the limited edition of 100 silkscreen prints is based on a line drawing of the artist’s original and iconic painting TIDE and is sold together with a hardcover edition of the new Phaidon book. TIDE depicts one of the artist’s signature COMPANION subjects floating in the ocean illuminated by moonlight. The symphony of blues is vividly rendered through ten layers of silkscreen and ultraviolet ink. Like much of the artist’s work, the image is both playful and subversive, evoking wide-ranging emotions from joy and tranquility to alienation and loneliness.
