California's fast food workers will make $20 per hour starting next year.

Gov. Gavin Newsom signed the law Thursday in Los Angeles surrounded by cheering workers and labor leaders. “We have the opportunity to reward that contribution, reward that sacrifice and stabilize an industry,” he said.
