Negative fill vs bounce fill - read below

🖤 NEGATIVE FILL
- Increases contrast and adds a three-dimensional feel to your imagery.
- Subtracts light wherever it is placed
- Commonly used to enhance contrast when working with soft light.
- Works well when attempting to control light in environments with abundant ambient light bouncing around, such as in a room with white walls or outdoors.

🤍 BOUNCE FILL
- Decreases contrast & makes your subject feel friendly and inviting
- Increases the available light from wherever it is placed
- Commonly used in beauty work & for brands that want to appear friendly and inviting
- Works best when you have a strong source coming from the opposing side that you can bounce back in

✨ BONUS TIPS
- To increase or decrease the amount of negative or bounce fill, simply move it closer or further away from the subjects
- You can use almost anything, from fabric, to 5in1 reflectors all the way up to professional floppy’s, fabrics & frames.
