🐆🥰 Cheetah cuddle party! Meet the newest members of our Zoo family, born Sept. 12 at our Front Royal, Virginia, campus. Mother Echo is doing an amazing job caring for her cubs—three boys and two girls—and the newborns appear strong, active, vocal and are nursing well. 🐆❓🐆 Two males, Asante and Flash, bred with Echo in spring; one—or both—could be the father(s)! We’ll know in about 6 weeks following the cubs’ first veterinary exam. The arrival of these cubs marks 81 cheetah births celebrated at our Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute. #WeSaveSpecies
