To reach the Wave you will need a permit. Only 64 people can hike to the wave daily. That’s why there is a lottery system where you can win a permit.
There is a upfront advanced lottery 4 months before the permit date. And a daily lottery two days before the permit date.
We joined the daily lottery and the 2nd time we won the permit! 🥳 We were super lucky as the chances are not high to win. That’s why we had planned to stay in the area 2 weeks so we could join the lottery everyday until we got the permit.
