⚡️Day 7 Riding Route 66 for Charity
💥Tulsa, OK to Springfield, MO
💥 Today: 207 miles Total: 1713 miles
Today was nature day! We had brekky at the charming @hiwaycaferoute66 & then took a detour to deliver some pamphlets to Crazy Legs in Baxter, MO at the visitor center. Then we jumped back on historic Route 66, hiked around Grand Falls, followed by a jeep tour in the Fantastic Caverns! As the sun set we pulled up to the Rail Haven Motel and checked in to the Buffalo Bill room where there’s a copper bath tub in the middle of the room! Of course I had to take a bubble bath 🛀. We had dinner at the first ever Steak ‘n Shake and then went back to the western themed hotel room where we all crashed on the California king bed.
