Mammutさんのインスタグラム写真 - (MammutInstagram)「Together with @adrian.zurbruegg , we climbed over the seven peaks Mättenberg, Ankebälli, Gwächta, Klein Schreckhorn, Nässihorn, Schreckhorn, and Lauteraarhorn from Grindelwald up to the Grimsel, in only 18 hours and 52 minutes. A high alpine marathon, with 4200 meters vertical and 42 kilometers. The ridge from the Mättenberg to the Schreckhorn is rarely made and therefore it offers remote and wild climbing. There is practically no gear like pitons or bolts, and the rock is partly brittle, which makes climbing even more difficult. We didn’t know the tour and didn’t know exactly what to expect. Only the climb up the Mättenberg was familiar to me, as I had set up a water depot there the day before. For our undertaking, we calculated a time of 20 hours. In the end, we beat the time by a little more than an hour. Staying focused for such a long period of time is highly demanding and leaves its mark. We were glad when we stood on the glacier after the descent from Lauteraarhorn. From then on, a fall no longer had fatal consequences - just a few scrapes. At the end, the meltwater from the glacier and the sweat let our feet swell, which made the last 17km a painful final push.
