Here are some fun bios about their background, and an in depth look at what goes in behind the scenes of ensuring your experience is one of joy and pleasure. ☕️✨ Jim Kelso is Stumptown’s Director of Quality Assurance. Jim started in 2002 at our Division cafe as a barista and has since worked as a cafe manager, production roaster and pinch hitter on the Green Coffee team, complete with a Q Grader certification and stints as a Cup of Excellence judge. Behind those sterling coffee credentials is a guy who says he drinks coffee and listens to music for a living, and shares those two loves with those lucky enough to work around him, enjoying an ever-changing soundtrack and freshly brewed coffees all day long. 🎶 Jeremy Robillard has had a long and varied history in and around coffee and Stumptown. Jeremy started out in coffee as a Stumptown wholesale customer and then was hired on as a barista at the downtown cafe. After honing his skills behind the bar he ushered countless of the coffee curious through what was, at the the time, the singular sensory experience available at the Annex Tasting Room. His further experience managing training, education and wholesale accounts helped round out his encyclopedia-like coffee mind.
