Did you know @nobladesnobows (Nate Young) from @anberlin drummed on our Childhood Eyes EP? According to @ryanmichaelmendez, Nate had an idea for the drum loop in the song Three Minutes More, sat down to try it, and it was “just instantly the right thing”. The audio from the first part of this video is the actual moment that’s on the EP recording. Nate and Ryan Mendez recorded the drums for Childhood Eyes in Tampa, FL while the other band members were able to give our input via video chat. @smackinyc says: “Nate Young is an incredible friend and talent. We were so fortunate to be able to have him record new Yellowcard songs with us.” Three Minutes more also features guest vocals from @ヴィック・フエンテス of Pierce the Veil. So many talented people contributed to this song and we’re so grateful for the positive response it’s received since the release of Childhood Eyes!
