My 95 year old grandmother was in pretty perfect health and yesterday we got a call she was in the ER. The woman I thought I’d get to keep forever in less than 48 hours was gone out of nowhere💔 You were an icon, the most fashionable and I mean you lived at a hotel … next to Barney’s. My shopping for sure had to do with you, and well my love for hotels😅 You were always excited to see what look I was going to wear next when I saw you, and I couldn’t wait to see yours. You accepted me for me, you actually if not partially shaped me to be who I am. We traveled to China, Israel, Paris, London and everywhere under the sun together. You climbed the Great Wall of China in heels because you thought flats were hideous. Of course I got my sass and fashion taste from you. Growing up, I didn’t have a single close friend who you didn’t know and well with good reason my friends all liked you more than me. You never made me unhappy, we never fought and I’m so grateful for all you did for me. You gave me a life I couldn’t have dreamed of and I love you forever & always.
