He is one of the many selfless and skilled cosplayers I’ve met over the years who dedicate themselves to promoting joy and compassion while representing the shows they love. Jack wears many cosplay hats (and has the weapons to accessorize!) but I first met him as #DinDjarin at @ricomicconofficial in 2021. He noticed that the #armorer hammer I travel with was busted (too many Storm Trooper whoopings) and offered to make me another. His work is magnificent, so I asked him if he’d be game to make several hammers to be used to raise money for @voicesagainstcancer . He did not hesitate for a moment, and puts the same care and skilled workmanship into every one of the hammers he makes for our charity raffles. We’ve raised over $5000 in the last year alone from raffling off Jack’s hammers! (Side note- I found a photo of him with his grandma on his page and couldn’t resist posting it. How adorable is she???) The generosity of the cosplay community has blown me away since I started attending conventions, and I want to thank all of you who dress up to do good - you bring so much joy to every kid (and grownup!) you meet.
