It is not my identity, but it has been a big part in shaping the man that I am today. From the little kid who just wanted to jump and spin, to the competitor who wanted to prove himself, and finally the performer who loves to express himself, it has been a constant that has been there for almost my entire life. Skating is where I feel most at home. There is nothing like that gliding feeling… Even though skating will not be my “job” any more, I will continue to skate for the rest of my life. All good things must come to an end as they say, and I’m very excited to switch gears and change my life priorities. I am starting a new job as a bridge inspector next week and I am pumped to devote my time and energy into something new. I am so excited for the future and I cannot wait to keep growing the family that my wife, @sarah_kat_dee , and I have started. I am ready to start working and living for others now, rather than only living for myself - for I feel that that is what we are all meant to do. Skating, you will always be a part of me.
