ad| Ireland is known as the Emerald Isle - the most luscious greens decorate the fields and the landscapes here, so I've put together a few of my favourite locations along the @thewildatlanticway where the greens really pop:

Slea Head Drive (well worth driving it at sunset)

Dunquin Pier (with the Skellig Islands on the horizon)

Kylemore Abbey (home to a Benedictine order of nuns)

Lough Gummeenduff (it's also worth driving a little further to find the abandoned slate house)

Scarriff Islands viewpoint (on the Ring of Kerry)
