I feel so grateful today, at the onset of my 44th rotation of the sun. Life truly is a grand adventure. Even in the midst of chaos, maybe even because of the chaos, I get to choose to be fully alive or to fall into a slumber of the soul. I choose to live. I choose to breathe, and struggle, and laugh, and fear, and jump, and fall, and fly. I love being in my forties. The intensity, the release, the healing, the awakening to my true nature - it has been pure adventure for the past four years. I wake up every morning, come rain or shine, and get to unwrap a new day, a new feeling, a new experience, a new shock, a new horror, a new love. Ke ono. 🖤
