So Ken's first team (Vermont Sports Car) brought me onboard to help this "new driver" that was looking to be in the sport for a while.  Funny story is that I initially turned the opportunity down, as I already had a good ride locked in for 2005. But at the start of the season that ride unexpectedly went away before the first rally even started. So I called Vermont Sports Car back.  "Hey guys...my driver for the year has withdrawn. If you are still interested, I can co-drive for your new driver". Their reply was that Ken was going to do the next rally (his third ever) with another co-driver, and if it didn't work out they would have let me know. They called me promptly the day after that rally and hired me for the season…”  *** @alexgelsomino was Ken’s co-driver for almost his entire career. They first competed together in 2005, and raced together in almost every single American rally event after that.
