Right before we got COVID I completed my 11 week streak on the Peloton app. I was never consistent before with moving my body. I could always find a reason to not do it or prioritize work / kids / anything over it and save it for last. On my health journey last year my doctor told me I needed to be moving my body and building muscle for longevity and I stumbled upon @angigreene ‘S IG and saw a post she did one morning where she talked about how her kids come and find her and her partner in the gym in the morning and I thought hmm why didn’t I think of that? After a few days the kids would join @ericcolsen and I in the garage and then every day it became a consistent routine. First coffee. Then workout. Then shower and take the kids to school. It’s hard to motivate but after years of inconsistency this did it for me.
