ANA.IC.MANZA.BEACH.RESORTさんのインスタグラム写真 - (ANA.IC.MANZA.BEACH.RESORTInstagram)「今年、40周年のアニバーサリーイヤーを迎えたANAインターコンチネンタル万座ビーチリゾート。木曜日は#TBT。毎週、懐かしい写真とともに、万座の「今」と「昔」を紹介しています。万座の歴史をお楽しみください。本日は、建設中の貴重な記録写真をご紹介します。海に面した丸みのある客室のバルコニーの部分や、当リゾートの特徴でもあるアトリウムが出来上がっていく様子がわかります。客室数は当初350室で稟議決裁されましたが、建設のコストがそれほど変わらないという理由で、当時の専務が401室（現在は400室）に修正を指示したというエピソードも残っています。 14ヵ月の工期、110万時間という労働時間を経て、1983年6月1日にホテルは竣工しました。無事故、無災害での工事が終了したと記録されています。ちなみに、開業日は同月17日。沖縄返還協定が調印された日が1971年の6月17日だったことが理由になっています。次回の #TBT もお楽しみに♡ On Thursdays, our #TBT introduces the "now" and "then" of Manza with nostalgic photos every week. Enjoy the history of Manza. Today, we would like to share with you some precious record photos of Manza during its construction. You can see the rounded balconies of the guest rooms facing the sea and the atrium, one of the features of our resort, being built. The number of guest rooms was initially approved at 350, but the executive director at the time changed the number to 401 (currently 400) because the cost of construction would not change significantly. After 14 months of construction and 1.1 million working hours, the hotel was completed on June 1, 1983. It is recorded that the construction was completed without any accidents or natural disasters. The opening date was determined as the 17th of the same month, due to the fact that the Okinawa reversion agreement was signed on June 17, 1971.
