SAGE was written as a hymn, mantra and testimony to the season of transformation and becoming that I am in. When I think about freedom, I see the smiles of my sisters and the vastness of their dreams & I delight in knowing that even when I have not been able to see myself or the path God has for me, I have been blessed by the Black Women in my life whose expansive vision and tender love always reignites my sense of divinity and self. So even when I am sleeping on myself, I am surrounded by people who will wake me tf up! Okay!
