My biggest flex ever? THAT IM A REAL BARBIE and so are my daughters! Back in 2019 @Mattel reached out and wanted to make me and my family into one of a kind Barbies. And on top of that I created 2 collectible Barbie’s with @Mattel that completely sold out in 20 minutes! It was truly an insane experience!

💞 We all have a Barbie experience- growing up I collected blonde hair and blue eyed Barbie’s… none of them looked like me, so when @Mattel approached me about this project I was in tears. Knowing that little asian girls around the globe would be able to have a Barbie that represented them. Representation, diversity, & inclusitivity matters especially for our future generation!

💪🏻I also wanted to represent strong, working, independent women so I put my Barbie in, of course, a suit… a pink suit. We even added a gold iPhone with an actual photo of my Instagram page on that phone for each Barbie! The level of detail! Also the backdrop of the box we designed was of our old office in downtown LA.. which was where my career began. ALSO the fact that BARBIE herself visited CHRISELLE BARBIE at my office was epic.

👩‍👧‍👧It has been 4 years since this mega moment but still til this day one of the biggest moments in my career! Thank you to the @Mattel @バービー @バービー team for this opportunity of a lifetime, and making diversity, equality, and empowerment reflective of the Barbie we know today!
