Wir haben in der Allianz-Arena viel gelacht, uns gemeinsam erinnert und den Zusammenhalt genossen. Es ist für mich unglaublich, dass der Fußball uns Menschen so oft so glücklich macht und uns unbezahlbare Erlebnisse und Emotionen schenkt. Ich werde auch im Rahmen meiner Rolle als Turnier-Direktor der @euro2024 immer wieder auf diese positive Power des Fußballs aufmerksam machen und gemeinsam mit allen Fußballerinnen und Fußballern diesen fairen, freundlichen und respektvollen Umgang im Sport und in der Gesellschaft fördern und feiern. Dass wir das Spiel gegen die Legenden von Borussia Dortmund gewinnen konnten, war gestern eine schöne Nebensache und vielleicht auch kein Zufall. Denn die Partie endete genau wie vor 10 Jahren - 2:1 für den FC Bayern. I am writing this post with a lot of joy and gratitude inside me! Because yesterday I experienced a day full of magical moments. 10 years after the triple victory with FC Bayern, we met again: Team, coach, fans and club! We laughed a lot in the Allianz Arena, remembered together and enjoyed the cohesion. It is remarkable to me that football has the ability to give us such happiness, all these priceless experiences and emotions. In my role as Tournament Director of @euro2024, I will continue to draw attention to the positive power of football and, together with all footballers, promote and celebrate this fair, friendly and respectful interaction in sport and in society.
