“It blew us away,” says @monoware founder Daniel Baer, recalling his first viewing of the courtyard home he now shares with his partner, Jassim Ahmed. The couple were looking to buy, “a certain kind of house”, which they discovered after signing up to listing alerts on The Modern House house. As Daniel continues: “It was late afternoon and the way the light was shining on the building was just beautiful.”
