I scored a one night stay at Crystal Cove Moro SP campground in Laguna Beach about 6 months ago. I have been anticipating this trip since then! I swear, securing a good camp spot can be like lining up for Jordans 😂 (wait do people still line up for Jordans or am I just too old? lol) Not all great campsites are hard to come across tho! I often score amazing first come first served sites by luck or find gems while dispersed camping. But it's always good to have a backup plan when you don't have a reservation! Here are some of my top favorite apps or sites to find camp spots: 1. Recreation.gov 2. Google (search campgrounds in your area) 3. Hipcamp (for unique experiences, usually privately owned land) 4.
