Fiberglass rods are carefully balanced causing the webs to softly float around her body. The Seascape gown is made from a liquid-trapping embroidery technique that vividly floats onto a illusion-nude tulle. The’Biophilic’ dress is developed from laser-cutting graphic line-works that are bonded together to serve as molds, in which a marble-textured silicone is injected with syringes into the fine laser-cut outlines, while abalone-shell flakes are inlaid by hand into gradients before the silicone is settling. After settling, a final transparent layer of silicone is injected.
