It’s okay to have a negative starting point. You don’t HAVE to answer “I just want to be stronger”, "fitness is the goal", “I want to run a marathon”.

It's okay to say...
“I'm not happy with myself"
“I just went through a bad breakup and I don't feel good”
“I was bullied”
“I lack of self confidence”
“I am lonely”
“I just had a baby and I just want my body to feel like mine again”

Everyone’s reason for joining the gym or starting a fitness journey is different.

When it comes to your 'why', be truthful with yourself. If it comes from a place of negativity, it’s okay. As long as the negative isn't ALWAYS your why.
Eventually as you start training and prioritising your health and fitness, your WHY will change. You will start finding positive reasons as to “why” you are working out. Your relationship with fitness should start to become a happier and healthier one.

You will find yourself feeling more energised, stronger and fitter. These positive feelings will turn into your new driver to push you to do your workouts everyday and those negative thoughts will begin to fade.

The hardest part is showing up and trusting the process.

Do that… and you’ve got this.
