Here’s sonic sorceress @pamelazed Pamela Z is an artist attuned to her surroundings, captivated by life's intricacies. With echoed voices, upbeat tempos, and electronic cuts, her compositions evoke a subversive, lucid-dreamlike state. “I look at the visual world in the same way that I think about the sonic world, which is sort of a John Cage philosophy that all sounds are music, and it just depends on if it’s organized in the ear of the listener,” she explains. “I feel that same way about visual things.” Pamela has begun a studio residency at the MoMA to continue crafting her emotive composition,"Simultaneous" which will be on view from August 9 to August 13, 2023.
