The 'Barbie' movie has been banned in Vietnam over a scene that shows a map of the South China Sea — a strategically important body of water that’s hotly contested by China and a number of its neighbors, many of whom have close ties to the United States.

Warner Bros. defended the picture, saying the map is nothing more than a “child-like crayon drawing," and certainly not a political statement.
