My mom shared with me that when she was in a foreign country, she felt overwhelmed, fear and low emotions. Her scape was the beauty and madness of the ocean. She loved going where the waves crashed against the rocks, the sound would overtake her thoughts and it was a relief to help her connect back to her self.
