This week in 1968, The Beach Boys released their 14th studio album, Friends. Calm and peaceful, Brian calls it “good listening no matter what mood I’m in.” Recorded primarily in Brian’s home, the album features a lo-fi production, and was the first to feature significant songwriting contributions from other group members.
