Dress-spiration? G-art-ments? Van Goght-fit? Whatever bad pun you want to use, we love when life intimates art ✨
For the first time since 1901, Vincent van Gogh’s mesmerizing nocturnal scene “The Starry Night” is on view alongside his "Wheat Field with Cypresses” from The Met collection. Both works highlight Van Gogh’s concerted effort to tackle the massive, flame-like cypress tree during his time at the asylum in Saint-Rémy.
See both iconic paintings on display in “Van Gogh’s Cypresses” through August 27.
