Withstanding censorship with the ACLU.

As part of this year’s Aesop Queer Library—which features LGBTQIA2S+ books that have been banned in various settings—the Aesop Foundation has collaborated with the ACLU Foundation, which works to defend freedom of expression. Here, @chasestrangio discusses why such censorship must be challenged, and how stories from marginalised groups help to develop empathy and understanding. As a mark of solidarity, the Aesop Foundation has donated USD $100,000 to the ACLU Foundation to support its work both in the courts and beyond.
