Upon learning about Betelgeuse nearing a supernova (star death), I went down a supernova rabbit hole on Google and learned a few things:
1. When the nuclear fuel of a red giant (star) turns from helium to carbon and oxygen… then iron… it explodes. (That’s the supernova.) And the iron spreads all around it. Example: Earth.
2. That is the only way iron is naturally created.
SO WHAT I AM HEARING HERE IS: A star SACRIFICED itself for us to be born???!!! So who are WE to not push LIVING IT UP as far as we can?! I believe it’s the least we can do for the star who took one for the team so that NOT JUST the planet we are on, but also our bodies can thrive from being ironed like this!!!
